Wolves pick up win on the road

Reeds Spring High School’s boys basketball team defeated Cassville last week, 45-40. The Wolves then lost to East Newton later in the week 63-47. The team’s record is 3-7.
Girls Basketball
The Lady Wolves dropped two games to tough opponents. Forsyth beat RSHS 52-21. Jade Watson led the Lady Wolves with seven points. Springfield Catholic beat RSHS 53-21.
Wrestling
The RSHS wrestling team went 2-2 last week, beating Parkview and Springfield Central but losing to Lebanon and Branson.
At the Monett Tournament, Eben Crain finished second in the 285-pound weight class. Evan Wilson was fourth at 170, and Jakob McCracken was fourth at 145.
At the Gem City Girls Tournament, Lexi Harris won her weight class and Tori Brakhane won two matches in her weight class.
