Update On Special November Election

More details in the November special election to fill Scott Fitzpatrick’s District 158 seat in the Missouri House of Representatives have been solidified.
Earlier in May, the district’s Republican and Democratic legislative committees met and selected their candidates.
Scott Cupps, 33, of Shell Knob, will run on the Republican ticket and Lisa Gayle Kalp, 55, of Cassville, will run on the Democratic side.
Further, the Stone County Clerk’s Office reports the cost to Stone County for this election is estimated at $1,800. District 158 covers a small portion of Stone County in the Shell Knob area.
The special election was called by Governor Parson in late April. The election will be held on November 5. The election will also fill a house seat for the 99th District, located in St. Louis County.
