Two Local Cowgirls Compete in Barrel Racing World Finals
In July, sisters Jenna and Justine Scroggins qualified for the Bonus Race World Finals held at the Expo Square in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The cowgirls competed against each other and over two thousand other barrel racers for over $60,000 in prize money plus saddles, buckles, and other prizes.
Justine Scroggins (pictured on the left), a senior at Crane High School, won first in the 4D on her first run Saturday night of the race. This is her second year competing at these finals. She won a beautiful trophy buckle and prize money.
