Truck And Tractor Pull Benefiting Crane Trap Rescheduled For This Weekend
September 5, 2019
Southwest Missouri Truck and Tractor Pulling Association (SMTTPA) will return to Crane this weekend with the eighth annual truck and tractor pull, benefitting the Crane trap shooting team.
The event was originally scheduled for June 8, but was cancelled due to excessive rain and muddy conditions. Everyone who was looking forward to the event can come out to enjoy it this Saturday, September 7, starting at 6 p.m.
The event will be held at the Crane trap field again this year. The field is located behind Porter’s Supermarket on Dodge Hollow Road.
Admission is $10 for adults, $5 for children ages 6 to 12, and free for kids 5 and under. There is also a gun raffle this year.
Concessions will be available for purchase. Everyone is encouraged to bring lawnchairs. SMTTPA rules dictate no alcoholic beverages are allowed.
The truck and tractor pull is held every year to support the Crane trap team. Trap, along with other, similar sports, is required to fund much of its own costs. Other fundraisers include the Jerry Lippold and Joe Williams Memorial Shoots
