Tri-Lakes Board of REALTORS Award Good Neighbor Fund Grants

February 14, 2019

The Tri-Lakes Board of REALTORS® named the Good Neighbor Fund grant recipients on Wednesday, January 31, at Point Royale. Through the caring hearts and generosity of its REALTOR members this year, eight area organizations were presented with checks totaling over $15,000 during Tri-Lakes Board of REALTORS® monthly General Membership Meeting on January 31st. This year’s awardees included Boys and Girls Club of the Ozarks, Branson Housing Authority, Disabled American Veterans, Faith Community Health, Jesus Was Homeless, Kimberling City Area Library, Kimberling City Area Senior Center and the Crisis Center of Taney County.

The 2019 TLBOR Board President, Brent Sager, said, “There are so many organizations in the area that are doing great things for people in need and it is our honor to be included. The Tri-Lakes Board of Realtors is committed to giving back to our community in any way possible. We are so grateful that we are in the position to be able to give back to our community and will continue to do so for as long as we are able. To all of these great organizations—-Thank you for everything you do.”

Established in 2007, the TLBOR Good Neighbor Fund has gifted over $50,000 to 501c3 organizations who offer varied forms of assistance to local residents in need. Most of the fund’s money is raised annually through a fundraiser held at the end of the year. For more information on the grant application, please contact Julie Bolton at (417) 338-4555 or julie@tlbor.com.
