Galena High School Scholar Bowl (30-16, 7-0) entered the 2022 SWCL Tournament with hopes of defending a 2021 Title. The tournament was hosted at Galena High School on Thursday, March 3.  At the conclusion of the SWCL regular season, the Bears earned the top seed by claiming their second conference title in as many years.

The opening round opponent was the Trojans from Southwest. Galena prevailed with a final score of 350-60. In the semi-final round, the Bears overcame the Bulldogs of Blue Eye 430-110. The championship game saw a re-match of the 2021 Championship Game against the 2-seed Sparta Trojans. The Bears emerged victorious with a 410-180 win, for a repeat of the tournament title.

In other action from the tournament, the Crane Pirates secured the Consolation Bracket with a 200-130 win over Spokane. Blue Eye claimed the 3rd-Place trophy with a 290-170 win over Billings.
