February 15, 2018
Isaac Estes-Jones
A Reeds Spring woman was hurt after being thrown from her dirt bike last Wednesday.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, Danielle E. Gilman, 18, was riding a 2004 Yamaha TTR 225 dirt bike on private property north on Wednesday, February 7, when the wreck happened.
According to the report, Gilman was riding northbound on the property, located off of Old Wilderness Road, when she hit a slick spot of ice. She was “partially ejected” from the bike, the report says.
Danielle Gilman was taken to Cox Hospital in Branson by ambulance to treat minor injuries. She was wearing a safety device at the time of the incident.
The 2004 Yamaha TTR 225 had no damage. It was towed by the owner.
This incident was investigated by Trooper J. Henderson.
