Three Hurt After Vehicle Fails To Yield

Three people were hurt in a crash last Tuesday when one vehicle reportedly failed to yield to another at the intersection of Highways 160/248 and 13 outside of Reeds Spring.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, Kenneth D. Hall, 79, of Plato, was driving a 2010 Volvo S40 north on Highway 160 on Tuesday, October 8. At 12:20 p.m., the Volvo failed to yield to a 1999 Honda Civic heading south on Highway 13.

Donna Eason, driver of the Civic, had moderate injuries from the crash. She was taken by EMS to Cox Branson Hospital for treatment. She was wearing a seat belt.

Kenneth Hall and his passenger, Carol J. Hall, 75, of Plato, both suffered moderate injuries. They were also wearing seat belts at the time of the incident. They were taken by EMS to Mercy Hospital in Springfield for treatment.

The 1999 Honda Civic was totaled in the crash. The 2010 Volvo S40 had extensive damage. Both vehicles were removed from the scene by Chris’s Towing.

This incident was investigated by Trooper T. A. Bible.
