Isaac Estes-Jones

Two teenagers from Texas were hurt on the Fourth of July when the golf cart they were driving overturned while turning.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, a 15 year old gril from Carolton, Texas, was driving a 2000 Club Car golf cart south on Quiet Lane in Shell Knob when the incident occurred at 8:40 p.m.

The golf cart overturned when the driver attempted to make a left turn.

Both the driver and a passenger, another 15 year old girl from Carrolton, Texas, suffered moderate injuries in the crash. They were taken to Mercy Hosptial in Springfield by Mercy EMS.

The 2000 Club Car golf cart had minor damage and was driven from the scene.

This incident was investigated by Trooper Givens.
