Stone County Proclaims Child Abuse And Neglect Prevention Month

April 4, 2019

There is an ongoing need to build awareness about child abuse and neglect prevention and inspire change by focusing on community activities and public policies that prioritize prevention. Effective child abuse prevention programs are essential and succeed because of community partnerships created among citizens, social service agencies, schools, businesses, law enforcement agencies, faith-based organizations, civic organizations and other child-serving agencies.

We ask that you join us on April 11 2019 at 10:00 a.m. to help us proclaim April 2019 to be Child Abuse and Neglect Prevention Month and join in urging all citizens to actively participate in the care, well being and protection of our children.
