Sheriff’s Association Training in Reeds Spring

November 29, 2018

The Missouri Sheriff’s Association Training Academy will hold a part-time basic 700 hour class in reeds Spring starting January 17, 2019. The class will run through November 2019. Class will meet Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6 to 10 p.m. and every Saturday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. There will also be some Sunday sessions. 

The cost for the training is $5,000 for tuition, plus a $275 processing fee and $40.50 for a background check. Tuition may be reduced to $4,000 if sponsored and paid for by a Sheriff’s Office. Additionally, financial aid and college credits are available through Missouri State University - West Plains. For information on financial aid, contact Rachel Peterson at (417) 255-7978.
