Shell Knob Man Loses Life In Motorcycle Wreck In Barry Co.

            A Shell Knob man was killed in a motorcycle wreck on Saturday evening. The driver, Cody R. Blankenship, 34, of Shell Knob was headed eastbound on Highway 76, about five miles east of Cassville when he crashed. 
            According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, Blankenship was driving a 2006 Yamaha motorcycle when he left the roadway on a corner and overturned around 9:50 p.m. Blankenship was ejected from the bike when he crashed. 
            Blankenship was pronounced deceased at the scene by paramedic Bradley Arson at 11:12 p.m. 
            This was the 12th fatality for the month and the 78th for year for Troop D. 
            ​The Yamaha was extensively damaged and towed from the scene by Brice’s Towing, of Cassville.
