Serious Injuries In Reeds Spring Wreck Monday Afternoon

One person was airlifted after a two car crash in Reeds Spring on Monday, October 7.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, Dennis K. Lewis, 64, of Lampe, was driving a 2015 Chevrolet Traverse south on Missouri 13.
At the intersection of Highway 13 with Highway 76, a northbound vehicle turned left at approximately 1:24 p.m., failing to yield the right of way to the Traverse. This second vehicle, a 2002 Jeep Cherokee, hit Lewis’s Traverse, resulting in the crash.
The Jeep Cherokee was driven by Patricia L. Morris, 22, of Forsyth.
A passenger in the Jeep Cherokee, 21 year old Mackenzie R. Hileman, of Forsyth, suffered serious injuries in the incident. She was airlifted to Cox South Hospital in Springfield for treatment. She was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
The driver of the Cherokee, Morris, sustained moderate injuries and was taken by ambulance to Cox South Hospital. She was also wearing a seat belt.
Dennis Lewis had minor injuries. He was taken by a private vehicle to Cox Hospital in Branson. He was wearing a seat belt.
Both the 2002 Jeep Cherokee and 2015 Chevrolet Traverse were totaled in the crash. They were removed from the scene by Chris’s Towing, of Lampe.
This incident was investigated by Trooper Buff of Missouri State Highway Patrol Troop D.
