Reeds Spring Woman Hurt In Christian County Wreck

A 19 year old Reeds Spring woman was hurt last Friday after hitting a slowing vehicle from behind in Christian County. According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, Dezaray C. Brown, 19, of Reeds Spring, was driving a 2012 Chevrolet Impala south on Highway 160 when the wreck occurred four miles south of Spokane on Friday, July 5.
The report indicates a 2008 Chevrolet Tahoe, driven by Thomas C. Jarvis, 31, of Nixa, was also heading southbound on Highway 160. Jarvis slowed the Tahoe due to stopped traffic ahead. At approximately 8:40 a.m., the Tahoe was hit from behind by the Impala driven by Brown.
Dezaray Brown suffered moderate injuries in the crash and was transported to Cox Hospital in Branson for treatment. She was wearing a seat belt.
Thomas Jarvis, who was also wearing a seat belt, did not report any injuries in the collision.
The 2008 Tahoe had minor damage and was driven from the scene.
The 2012 Chevrolet Impala was totaled in the crash. It was towed from the scene by Ozark Tire and Auto.
This incident was investigated by Trooper T. Wright of Missouri State Highway Patrol Troop D.
