Arvest Bank awarded Reeds Spring Elementary School teacher Tara Mitchell $500 as part of the “We Love Teachers” campaign.
Mitchell teaches third grade. A parent of one of her former students nominated her. Part of the nomination letter stated, “Mrs. Mitchell is teaching virtually this year and that requires creativity, quick thinking, and patience. She does a great job!”
“Arvest celebrates Mrs. Mitchell and is so happy to recognize her in this way,” said Arvest marketing specialist Brandy Garcia. “We hope this prize makes her job a little easier.”
Arvest Bank gave out a total of 157 awards across four states, totaling $78,500.
“We also want to salute all the hard-working teachers in all the communities we serve. We know how much teachers mean to our children and the vital roles they play.”
