Reeds Spring School District developing new strategic plan, meetings start December 2

November 28, 2019
PictureStrategic plan logo for Reeds Spring School District.
The Reeds Spring School District will start a very important and exciting process with our initial Strategic Planning meetings scheduled for December 2-4. These planning sessions, attended by a 30-member committee, will help develop a strategic plan which will set Reeds Spring on the course of educational excellence for the future.

Throughout these three days, the committee will establish united, district-wide beliefs and a clear mission that will help drive decisions and actions for the upcoming years. The committee will also establish parameters and objectives, giving the district a focus as future teams create action plans that provide structured steps towards meeting district goals.

Following the initial meetings in December, an invitation will be extended to individuals in the community who would like to be involved in shaping the future of our Reeds Spring students. During the second semester, each objective formalized by the Strategic Planning Team will need passionate individuals to collaborate with district educators to come up with action steps to meet the team’s goals.

More information about ways you can become involved in the Strategic Planning process will be shared following the December meetings. We understand this planning process is one of the most important steps a district can take in establishing a culture built around educational excellence and look forward to you being a part of it.
