Two recent Reeds Spring High School graduates can continue their college experiences thanks to scholarships from the rootED Alliance. Luke McFerron and Madison Stickle, both from the RSHS Class of 2021, will receive up to $10,000 per year for four years.
McFerron currently attends Missouri State University. He hopes to become an educator. Stickle attends the University of Missouri with hopes of becoming an accountant.
The rootEd Alliance aims to help students in rural Missouri with advice, exposure, and access to financial resources. The organization works with Reeds Spring High School by providing funding for the school’s Student Success Advisor, Paige Cyrus-Ham. She meets one-on-one with every RSHS senior to discuss post-secondary options and how to pay for continuing education.
