The Table Rock Lake Chamber of Commerce will host a candidate forum Thursday, July 19, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. for candidates in the upcoming federal, state, and Stone County primary election. This event will be held at StoneBridge Village in the LedgeStone Country Club clubhouse, 1600 LedgeStone Way, Branson West, MO 65737.
The public is invited to visit with the candidates, beginning at 4:30 p.m. The candidate forum will be broadcast live on Branson Hometown Radio 106.3 KRZK beginning at 6:00 p.m.
“We encourage Stone County residents to come early, visit with the candidates, and then stay throughout the forum,” said Sheila Thomas, President/CEO, Table Rock Lake Chamber of Commerce. “This is a great opportunity for residents to let the candidates know what issues they think are most important.”
For the radio portion of the event, each candidate will be allowed two minutes for an introduction and to give a summary of their qualifications for the position. Next, each candidate in a contested race will be asked a question and given one minute to answer. Their opponent(s) will then be given one minute to respond.
