One Injured After Vehicle Runs Of Road Near Blue Eye

A Reeds Spring woman was taken to the hospital last Thursday after her vehicle ran off the far side of the road south of Lampe. According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, Alexandrea M. Dickerson, 20, of Reeds Spring, was driving a 2002 Pontiac Sunfire south on Missouri 13 on Thursday, August 8. 


At approximately 11:33 a.m., the Sunfire crossed the center line about five miles south of Lampe, south of the westbound MO 86 intersection. The vehicle is reported to have crossed the center line and continued off the highway to the left. The car overturned and struck a tree before coming to a stop. 


Alexandrea Dickerson suffered moderate injuries. She was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash. She was taken to Cox Hospital in Branson by ambulance for treatment. 


The 2002 Pontiac Sunfire was totaled in the incident and towed by Chris’s Towing.
