One Injured In Joe Bald Road Crash

January 17, 2019

Isaac Estes-Jones

A Kimberling City woman was hurt on Sunday, January 13, after a two vehicle collision on Joe Bald Road near the intersection with Hoot Owl Point.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, Elizabeth R. Horn, 29, of Reeds Spring, was driving a 2001 Ford Focus south on Joe Bald and attempted to make a left turn at approximately 1 p.m.

While making the left turn, the Focus pulled into the path of a 2008 Chevrolet Equinox driven by Teresa Arth, 59, of Kimberling City. Arth, who was wearing a seat belt, reported minor injuries after the crash. She was taken to Cox Hospital in Branson by ambulance.

Elizabeth Horn did not report any injuries.

The 2008 Chevrolet Equinox had moderate damage. The 2001 Ford Focus had extensive damage. Both vehicles were towed by Extreme Towing.

This incident was investigated by Sergeant Stuart.
