Crash Report Graphic
March 28, 2019

A Merriam Woods woman was hurt over the weekend after the vehicle she was riding in failed to yeild to oncoming traffic outside of Galena.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, Heath C. McClaine, 37, of Merriam Woods, was driving a 2003 Dodge Durango north on Railey Creek Road when, at 6 p.m. on Sunday, March 24, the vehicle failed to yield while making a left turn onto Missouri 176 about one mile east of Galena.

The Durango reportedly failed to yield to an eastbound 2008 Ford Focus, driven by Little B. Webb, 59, of Galena.

Tiffany D. McClaine, 32, of Merriam Woods, was a passenger in the Durango. She suffered moderate injuries in the collision and was taken to Cox South Hospital in Springfield for treatment. She was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.

Neither Heath McClaine nor Little Webb reported injuries. They were both wearing seat belts.

The 2003 Dodge Durango had moderate damage and was towed by Larry’s Towing. The 2008 Ford Focus also had moderate damage and was towed by Chris’s Towing.

This incident was investigated by Msgt C. A. Stuart of Missouri State Highway Patrol Troop D.
