One Hurt After Vehicle Runs Off Road In Southern Stone County

            A 21 year old from Arkansas was hurt Monday night after her vehicle ran off the side of Highway 86. According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, Abigail L. Boaz, 21, of Berryville, Ark., was driving a 2003 GMC Sierra west on 86 when the crash occurred at 3 p.m. on Monday, November 5. 

            According to the report, the vehicle ran off the right side of the road west of the intersection with Highway 13. It hit a MoDOT sign, an embankment and crossed a private driveway before coming to a stop. 
            Boaz suffered moderate injuries in the crash and was taken to Mercy Hospital in Springfield by ambulance. 
            The 2003 GMC Sierra had moderate damage. It was towed by Chris’s Towing.
            This incident was investigated by Trooper A. C. Rickman of Missouri State Highway Patrol Troop D.
