One Hurt After Running Off Road And Hitting A Sign

A Galena man suffered minor injuries after running off the highway near Branson West this weekend. According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, Charles E. Short, 61, of Galena, was driving a 1997 Kawasaki when the incident occurred on Saturday, August 25.
Short, who was wearing a safety device, reportedly ran off of Missouri 465 about three miles west of Branson at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. The vehicle then hit a sign.
Short had minor injuries. He was taken by private vehicle to Cox Hospital in Branson for treatment.
The 1997 Kawasaki also had minor damage. It was towed by Larry’s Towing.
This incident was investigated by Corporal Morris of the Missouri State Highway Patrol Troop D.
