An Oklahoma man lost his life last week after reportedly driving his vehicle into Table Rock Lake. According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, Ray L. Moore, 39, of Tulsa, Okla., was driving a 2011 Chevrolet Silverado when the incident occurred on Friday, March 22.

The incident occurred on private property off of Rockwood Lane, south of Branson West and north of Indian Point. Moore reportedly drove the truck into the lake at around 3:40 p.m. He was unable to escape the vehicle, which became completely submerged in the lake.

Ray Moore was pronounced deceased at the scene by Stone County Coroner John Cunnyngham at 5:50 p.m. He was taken to Stumpff’s Funeral Home.

The 2011 Chevrolet Silverado was totaled in the incident. It was towed by Larry’s Towing.

This incident was investigated by Trooper R.L. Mast, of Missouri State Highway Patrol Troop D.

This is the 19th fatality for Troop D in 2019.
