New Route Announced For Kimberling City Christmas Parade

November 21, 2019
Time is fast approaching for the Kimberling City Hometown Holiday Parade Sat. Dec. 7, hosted by the Lions Club of Kimberling City. There’s still time for organizations, businesses, groups and individuals to participate in the festivities.

“Our club hosts the parade for the community every year and we’re working hard to make this the best parade ever,” said Lions Club President Dan Jacobs. “We’re staying off Highway 13 to avoid traffic congestion and we have lots of fun planned after the parade.”

This year’s theme is “Christmas Stories.” Music, floats and special vehicles will each express this theme in their own way. This year, we are asking a donation for businesses and individual walkers/pet entries. Churches and non-profits may donate cookies. Donations go back into the community to provide vision exams and glasses for Stone County’s needy, help in dire situations, scholarships, Leader Dogs and more.

The entry form and all other parade information is readily available on the Lions Club of Kimberling City Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/KCMOLions in numerous other locations around the page. If you need more help, you can message the Club Secretary Ronda via the page or phone at (575) 737-8679.
