August 2, 2018
Isaac Estes-Jones
A Nebraska man was hurt on Table Rock Lake last week after hitting a wake on a personal watercraft (commonly referred to as a jetski).
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol boating incident report, Bradyn C. Hilgenfeld, 20, of Blair, Neb., was riding a 2015 Kawasaki 310 SE jetski on Table Rock Lake when the incident occurred at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, July 23.
According to the report, Hilgenfeld hit a boat wake and was thrown from the vehicle about two miles south of Kimberling City.
Hilgenfeld was reportedly wearing a safety device at the time of the incident. He suffered moderate injuries. Hilgenfeld was taken to Cox Branson Hospital for treatment.
The 2015 Kawasaki 310 SE did not have any damage.
It was driven from the scene by a third party.
This incident was investigated by Troopr R. L. Mast of Missouri State Highway Patrol Troop D.
