Nashville Man Hurt On Table Rock Lake

September 12, 2019
Isaac Estes-Jones

A Nashville, Tenn., man was hurt on Friday, August 30, after being thrown from a Waverunner on Table Rock Lake. According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol online boating incident report, Rasmus Tipp, 23, of Nashville, was riding a 2016 Yamaha Waverunner near Point 1 on the lake when the incident occurred at 4:20 p.m. The Waverunner was piloted by Eva L. Looke, 21, also of Nashville, Tenn.

According to the report, the Waverunner hit a large wave, throwing Tipp from the vessel into the air. He then landed on the back of the vessel.

Tipp suffered moderate injuries in the event. He was wearing a safety device at the time. He was taken to Cox South Hospital in Springfield for treatment.

The 2016 Yamaha Waverunner was not damaged in the incident. It was piloted from the scene by Looke, who was uninjured in the crash.
