Mt. Vernon Vets Home receives gift from  Stone County organizations

Pictured are Jim Van Hook, representing Kimberling City, MO. Elks Lodge #2505 and Andy Anderson, representing Modern Woodmen Fraternal Financial . Jim and Andy presented hygiene items and checks totaling $5,750 towards the Mt. Vernon Veterans Christmas Program. The funds were raised through the cooperative efforts of Kimberling City Elks Lodge #2505, Modern Woodmen Fraternal Financial, Veterans of the Ozarks, and Kimberling City American Legion Post #637 .
