MSU Announces Scholarships For Area Students

Missouri State University recently awarded scholarships to incoming students for the 2020-21 academic year.


These students were selected from those who applied based on their ACT (American College Test) scores, GPA, standing in graduating class and leadership shown in community and school activities.


Several students from Stone County were selected for scholarships. These recipients are listed with the scholarship they received below by home town. 


From Blue Eye, Brooklynn Paige Box received the Transfer Academic Scholarship; Megan Joan Johnson the Provost Scholarship; and Alyson Leigh Morgan received the Transfer Academic Scholarship.


Two individuals with Branson addresses in Stone County also received scholarships. They are Mackenzie Lane Godfrey, recipient of the Board of Governors Scholarship, and Jocelyne Rose Thomas, who received the Missouri State Promise Scholarship.


Leah Michele Stichler, of Branson West, was selected for the Transfer Academic Scholarship.


Kimberling City’s Rebekah Renee Richardson was awarded the Missouri State Promise Scholarship.


Aaron Michael Engleman, of Nixa, received the Deans Scholarship.


From Reeds Spring, Madison Nicole Cobb and Abby Joy Van Haitsma were both awarded the Provost Scholarship.


Khloee Rose Lathrum, of Shell Knob, was awarded the Board of Governors Scholarship.
