Motorcyclist Injured On Joe Bald Road

A motorcyclist was hurt last week after running off the side of Joe Bald Road outside of Kimberling City.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, Randall L. Hatcher, 68, of Kimberling City, was driving a 1993 Harley Davidson motorcycle south on Joe Bald Road when the vehicle ran off the road in a curve on Monday, October 7.
The report states the motorcycle failed to negotiate a curve, went off the right side of the road and overturned.
Hatcher suffered moderate injuries. He was taken to Cox South Hospital in Springfield by Mercy Ambulance. He was not wearing a safety device.
The 1993 Harley Davidson had moderate damage from the crash. It was towed from the scene by Chris’s Towing.
This incident was investigated by Trooper J. M. Linegar.
