Moderate Injuries After Truck Runs Off Road And Hits Embankment

            Timothy J. Jahrling, 55, of Blue Eye, was taken to the hospital last week after running off the side of the road near Kimberling City. According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, Jahrling was driving a 2007 Ford truck south on Missouri 13 when the crash occurred on Tuesday, August 28. 
            According to the report, the incident happened at 3:58 p.m. about one and one half miles south of Kimberling City. Jahrling’s truck ran off the side of the road, hit a highway sign and then a rock embankment. 
            Jahrling, who was wearing a seat belt, suffered moderate injuries. He was taken to Mercy Hospital in Springfield by EMS. 
            The 2007 Ford truck had moderate damage. It was towed by Chris’s Towing. 
            ​This incident was investigated by Trooper A. K. Buff.
