Minor Injuries After Truck Runs Off Road

An 18 year old man from Shell Knob was hurt on Friday, July 5, after his truck ran off the road near Blue Eye. 


According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, Orion A. McCall, 18, of Shell Knob, was driving a 2003 Chevrolet pickup east on Missouri 86 two miles east of Blue Eye when he approached stopped traffic at 2:41 p.m. 


The truck ran off the right side of the road and hit a tree before coming to a stop. 


Orion McCall, who was wearing a seat belt, suffered minor injuries in the crash. He was taken to Cox Branson Hospital by ambulance for treatment. 


The 2003 Chevrolet pickup had extensive damage. It was towed from the scene by Chris’s Towing, of Lampe. 


This incident was investigated by Trooper Buff.
