Medical Issue Leads To Crash On Old Wire Road Last Friday

           An Oklahoma woman was hurt west of Crane on Old Wire Road last Friday after she suffered from a medical condition. According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, Debra R. Kilgore, 62, of Wewoka, Okla., was driving a 1997 Dodge pickup west on Old Wire Road on Friday, August 17, when the crash occurred at 1 p.m. 
           According to the report, Kilgore suffered an undisclosed medical issue and went off the side of the road. The pickup then hit a tree. 
           Kilgore, who was wearing a seatbelt, suffered moderate injuries. She was taken to Cox South Hospital in Springfield for treatment. 
           The 1997 Dodge pickup was totaled. It was towed from the scene by Double Eagle Towing. 
           ​This incident was investigated by Corporal S. Isringausen.
