Man, Springfield teen hurt in Greene County crash

A Branson West man and a 17 year old from Springfield were hurt in Greene County last week after losing control of their vehicle. According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, Christopher M. Horton, 39, of Branson West was driving a 1997 GMC C6500 truck when the crash occurred on Friday, May 25.
The vehicle was heading south on Highway F about three miles west of Bois D’Arc in Greene County when the crash occurred at 9:20 a.m. The truck ran off the right side of the road and overcorrected, running off the left side of the road, overturning and hitting a fence and a tree.
Neither Horton nor the teenaged occupant were wearing seatbelts. Both individuals had moderate injuries and were taken to Mercy Hospital in Springfield for treatment.
This crash was investigated by Corporal K. Walters of Missouri State Highway Patrol Troop D.
