Isaac Estes-Jones
A Crane man was hurt after wrecking into the rear of a truck southeast of Clever. According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, the incident occurred on Tuesday, August 28, just before 5 p.m.
Jonathan Easterhoff, 27, of Crane, was driving a 2009 Yamaha motrocycle at high speed south on Possum Trot Road. As the motorcycle topped a blind hill, a 2010 Chevrolet Silverado, driven by Judson Jones, 60, of Billings, was turning onto Kimberling Mill Road. The motorcycle hit the rear of the Silverado.
Easterhoff, who was wearing a safety device at the time of the incident, suffered moderate injuries. He was taken to Cox South Hospital in Springfield by EMS for treatment.
Jones did not report any injuries. His 2010 Chevrolet Silverado had minor damage and was driven from the scene.
The 2009 Yamaha motorcycle was not damaged. It was towed by Double Eagle Towing.
This incident was investigated by Trooper A. K. Buff with assistance from Trooper A. W. Poulson.
