Man Has Serious Injuries After Crash Near Crane

Jacob A. Hair, 21, of Billings, was injured over the weekend after his vehicle ran off of Swinging Bridge Road just east of Crane. According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, Hair was driving a 1999 Chevrolet 1500 truck east on Swinging Bridge Road when the crash occurred just after midnight on Sunday, November 18. 

The report states the truck ran off the road and hit a utility pole, injuring the driver. 

Jacob Hair suffered serious injuries in the crash. He was not wearing a seatbelt. Hair was taken to Cox South Hospital in Springfield for treatment. 

The 1999 Chevrolet 1500 truck had extensive damage. It was towed by Double Eagle Wrecker. 

This incident was investigated by Trooper K. R. Copeland.
