Better late than never:
A Crane citizen would like to say thank you to the Crane Bible Baptist Church for their cook-out and fireworks display on June 23. What a treat for Crane and surrounding communities.
Another thank you to the Crane First Baptist Church for the cook-out and fireworks display on July 4th.
Walking the trail
What a pleasure to have the trails in our City Park.
Every morning, a group of people (whoever shows up, sometimes one person, sometimes six) walk the trail in the park.
We sit on benches to rest, listen to birds, see wildlife, look in the creek and enjoy the tranquility of it all.
We also use the time to pick up trash that people leave behind.
What does it take for you to put your trash in the garbage containers in the park? Be proud of your park and keep it clean.
We would like to say thank you to the city for this lovely park and trails.
To the city workers who trim trees, mulch the broken limbs up and do the mowing.
I say to all enjoy your park.
Ethelene Munson, Crane
