Lady Bear Volleyball finishes as runner-Up in Class 1 District 7

October 28, 2021
Picture
Lady Bears finish second in Districts.
After a strong first set, the Lady Bears could not rebound from a tough loss in set one. The Lady Bears were tied at 23 with the top seeded Blue Eye Lady Bulldogs in the first set, and had senior Rina Keltner serving to take a lead. Unfortunately, the Lady Bears could not secure that point, and the Lady Bulldogs would take set one 25-23.
The Lady Bears would find themselves down by big margins in both the second and third set, before making an attempt at a comeback. The deficit was too much, and the Lady Bulldogs would achieve a three set victory over the Lady Bears.
The Lady Bears had a very strong season, and finished the year 23-9-2. This is the best season in quite some time for the Lady Bears, and the team has a lot to look forward to, as they will return five starting players, and have some depth that will improve in the off-season. Congratulations on a great season Lady Bears!
