Kirbyville woman injured near Cape Fair

According to a Missouri Highway Patrol crash report, Thomas M. Christopher, 42, of Bernice, Okla., was driving a 1997 Ford Ranger east on Mo-76, one mile east of Cape Fair on August 29. At approximately 3:50 p.m., Thomas crossed the center line and struck a 2018 Toyota Rav4 driven by Traci Nanney, 50 of Kirbyville. Nanney suffered moderate injuries and was transported to Cox South Hospital in Springfield.
Both drivers were wearing seatbelts according to the accident report. Both vehicles were extensively damaged and were towed from the scene.
