Kimberling City Man Hurt In Alleged DWI Crash

A 23 year old from Kimbering City was hurt in the early morning hours of Saturday, December 29, 2018, after his vehicle ran off the road. According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report and online arrest report, Anthony M. La Grand-Perez, 23, of Kimbering City, was driving a 20134 BMW 353 on Missouri 265 when the crash occured at 3:50 a.m.
According to the reports, the BMW ran off the left side of Highway 265 one mile north east of the intersection with Indian Point Road. After running off the road, the vehicle hit two trees before coming to a stop.
La Grand-Perez, who was wearing a seat belt, suffered minor injuries in the crash. He was taken to Cox Hospital in Branson for treatment. The arrest report indicates that Highway Patrol requested charges/citations be issued against him before he was released for treatment. Highway Patrol reportedly requested a misdemeanor DWI charge and a citation for failure to drive on the right half of the road.
The 214 BMW 353 was totaled in the crash. It was towed by Larry’s Towing and Recovery, of Branson West.
