K-Cup Collection To Continue Into 2020 At Crane Library

In an update to last week’s story about recycling k-cups at the Crane branch of the Stone County Library, Julie Bryce has announced that the program will continue until at least February 2020.

The program, where individuals can recycle used k-cup coffee pods via a partnership between Subaru of America and TerraCycle, requires individuals to drop their coffee pods off at the designated boxes at Subaru dealerships, like the one in Springfield.

To make things easier and continue advancing her passion for recycling, Julie Bryce, librarian associate at the Crane branch, will collect k-cups at the library and take a trip to the dealership once she has collected a large number. “People can just bring the K-cups to the Library and we’ll take it from there,” Bryce said.
