Judges appointed in 39th Circuit

Governor Mike Parson has appointed Mathew Kasper as Associate Circuit Judge for the 39th Judicial Circuit. He will fill the Associate Circuit Judge vacancy created by the retirement of the Honorable Robert George.
Kasper, of Mount Vernon, currently serves as the assistant prosecuting attorney for Lawrence County. He holds a bachelor’s degree in history and political science from Arkansas Tech University and a master’s degree in divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Mr. Kasper earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Arkansas School of Law.
Parson also appointed David Cole as Circuit Judge for the 39th Judicial Circuit. He will fill the Circuit Judge vacancy created by the appointment of the Honorable Jack A.L. Goodman to the Southern District Court of Appeals.
Cole, of Cassville, is currently a partner at Ellis, Cupps & Cole Law Firm. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Missouri Southern State University and a Juris Doctor from the University of Missouri – Columbia School of Law.
