Infant Has Minor Injuries After Vehicle Runs Off Road

November 8, 2018
Isaac Estes-Jones
An infant child was among those injured in a single-vehicle crash on Thursday, November 1. According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, the incident occurred just after 5:30 p.m. on Highway 413 at Elsey, south of Crane.
A 2003 GMC Yukon, driven by Breeanna L. Weaver, 20, of Crane, was attempting to slow down while driving south on Highway 413. The driver reportedly lost control of the vehicle, which left the roadway and crashed.
The 2003 GMC Yukon was totaled in the crash. It was towed by Johnson’s Wrecker, of Crane.
Three people suffered minor injuries in the collision. Breeanna Weaver and Skylar Weaver, 20, of Crane, were not wearing seatbelts when the crash occurred. An infant child, less than one year old, also had minor injuries. The child was secured in a safety device, according to the crash report. All three were taken by private vehicle to Cox Hospital of Branson for treatment.
This incident was investigated by Trooper A. K. Buff.
