Huse Takes Over Pastorship At Wheelerville Community Church

August 30, 2018
Wheelerville Community Church, located at Junction Highway 248 and State Highway D would like to announce “A Fresh Startup” for all residents. Trent Huse, of rural Crane, will be the new Pastor at the Church.
Mr. Huse, a longtime musician and speaker, graduated Crane High School in 1970, attended Longview Community College and Draughon Business College. As he was growing up, he was the Grit Newspaper salesperson for several years throughout the City of Crane and surrounding community. His father, Rev. Leon Huse of rural Crane, Mo., pastored Wheelerville Community Church for many years. At the age of 88, he has retired rendering the pastoral position to his oldest son, Trent Huse.
The objectives we are wanting to accomplish for the community are to provide a ministry adapted to the current needs of our society. We, who are somewhat older, live in a much advanced world that did not exist when we were younger. There exist much greater and complicated challenges in the world today. The basics of the “Old Time Religion” will remain the same, however we want to incorporate solutions that address current issues as well. We still believe in Biblical principles, and concur that many people are feeling a mystical void that can be filled with spiritual and common practices.
In the near future, our leaders anticipate contacting surrounding counties and offering a Step Program to help resolve addictions and Spiritual emptiness. The name of the group will be called: LTL (Learning To Live). The meetings are currently scheduled to be held on Tuesday evenings at 7:00 p.m. Please include this in your prayers. We are aware of judicial requirements and hope to participate with the surrounding community and law enforcement agencies. The start date of these meetings will be announced later.
It should be noted that the church will be built upon the need of common folks. Our scope is centered upon hard workers, farmers, truck drivers, young people who are in a struggle, and generally discontented people who are seeking concrete foundations for dealing with the common needs of life, both spiritual and physical.
Presently, worship services are scheduled for Sunday 10:30 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. and Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. We urge anyone not attending church to come and join us. We earnestly desire to be part of the solution to human needs, not the problem.
We also invite all musicians to come and join us with your talents and gift of music.
Trent used to tour the West Coast and Alaska but later dedicated his life to the Lord and now enjoys playing with Gospel musicians.
For those who are seeking solidarity in the Word, and want to be appreciated in a worship service as never before, Wheelerville Community Church is your prime choice. If you have further questions or interests, Trent Huse welcomes all contacts at 417-389-8640 or residence: 417-203-4029. Find us on Facebook Wheelerville Church.
