Hurley School District Also providing Meals For Students

Hurley School District is providing free breakfast and lunch for all Pre-K through 18 year old students. This program started earlier this week on Tuesday, March 24. Pick up meals are available between 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the dock by the front entrance. Call 369-3271 and choose extension 1114 at the message and leave a message if you will pick up meals on Tuesday and Wednesday. Please identify students’ names.
Hurley has applied for a Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services “No Kid Hungry” grant to cover costs associated with providing meals.
Secondly, the delivery of meals will be available beginning on Thursday for families in need. Parents are asked to list this in a message if in need, as well as to leave a contact number.
Phone messages may begin tonight for preparation for tomorrow’s meals. Student work is being prepared by teachers and will be ready on Friday.
Additionally, Hurley has announced that kindergarten screening scheduled for next month has been postponed indefinitely.
