City of Hurley Holds Annual Independence Day Celebration Over Weekend

June 28, 2018
Local band Thrillfall entertained the crowd at the City of Hurley Independence Day Celebration on Saturday, June 23. The band played through the heat until the fireworks started at sundown.
The Hurley Church of God sold balloon animals and painted faces supporting their Kids' Bible Quiz and Drama Team.
This giant lawn chair was one of the many items sold via silent auction to support future Hurley events and the HCDC scholarship.

In Hurley, the local band Thrillfall performed for the crowd that slowly grew in size as the heat of the day fell off and the sun started to set on Saturday, June 23. The Hurley Fire Department Auxiliary had a jar out accepting donations. These donations went to support Racee Jennings, the daughter of Thrillfall drummer Shane Jennings, who has been in the hospital.
