Hurley Independence Day Celebration Slated For June 20

The Hurley Independence Day celebration is set for June 20 of this year. “Hopefully we will be back on track for music and fireworks in late June,” organizers said.
Events this year are scheduled to kick off at 5 p.m. Hurley Community Development Corporation (HCDC) will be selling food at Hurley City Hall while music is performed by the Flyin’ Buzzards and the Lori Locke Band.
At sunset, the Hurley Fire Department will set off fireworks for everyone gathered to watch.
This annual event is sponsored by HCDC, the city of Hurley and the Hurley Fire Department Auxiliary.
