An FFA Week assembly was held on Tuesday, February 19, in the Hurley High School multipurpose gym. The theme of the assembly was “The Choices We Make, Make Us.”
Several videos were shown, and the FFA officer team spoke about the importance of choices, giving special emphasis to the friends and other people one surrounds oneself with.
To demonstrate the importance of being around good people, the team had the teachers pull on a rope, creating a circular tight rope, upon which one of the team walked.
They then attempted to have all of the gathered students, grades 5 through 12, create a long “lap sit” chain across the gym.
School dismissed early, at 1:30 p.m., due to inclement weather.
