Hurley Brings Home Seven Medals In Science Olympiad

On Wednesday, March 6, Hurley High School students participated in the Mark Twain Conference (MTC) Science Olympiad in Chadwick.

The students brought home seven medals by the end of the day. Wyatt Pope came in third in the paper air planes event. Pope, along with Gunnar Feigen, placed second in the egg drop. Two Hurley teams placed in the buoyancy boats competition. Hailey White and Skyler Blakely placed second while Haley Parsons and Clayton Tabor came in third.

Hurley’s Haley Parsons and Clayton Tabor, pictured above, also competed in the buoyancy boats event, coming in third place at the MTC Science Olympiad on March 6.
