Sixteen archers from Crane and three from Hurley made the long trip to South Carolina to shoot. These numbers did not allow us to have a team score, so everyone had to shoot as individuals. It had been 22 months since NASP held an in person tournament, so everyone was really excited to shoot.
All of the archers shot on Thursday, June 10 and if they placed in the top ten then, they could shoot on Friday, June 11.  Three archers advanced, Linsey Alia Lopez, Owen Vaught from Crane and Aiden Small from Hurley.
Final result:  Linsey Alia Lopez placed 21st with a score of 287, Owen Vaught placed 19th with a 283, and Aiden Small placed 108th with a 267.  All scores can be viewed at nasptournaments.org.
Linsey Alia Lopez won a $500.00 dollar scholarship in a random draw.
This season has been very unusual with COVID and my first year of not being in the Classroom.  Everyone had a great season, and to end the season in Myrtle Beach South Carolina was wonderful.  I am looking forward to a great season next year.
